Channels merge into one inbox
WhatsApp and email land in the same inbox. "Which channel did this customer write from?" disappears, because the conversation accumulates under the person regardless of channel.
WContacts
WContacts is the communication module of the WApps business management ecosystem. It collects WhatsApp, email and other channels into a single inbox where the team replies from one screen and it stays visible who is handling what.

Core workflow
Connect WhatsApp and email accounts, authorising each channel for sending, receiving or both.
Inbound messages accumulate under the contact in a single thread, regardless of channel.
The team replies from one screen and sees sent, delivered and read status on outbound messages.
WContacts is a web-based communication tool that collects customer messages from different channels into one inbox. It connects WhatsApp and email accounts and keeps inbound and outbound messages in a single conversation per contact, with internal team notes written in the same thread without the customer seeing them. It is part of the WApps suite.
Problem and approach
WContacts owns the stretch from a message arriving to it being answered: connecting channels, collecting inbound messages in one inbox, keeping conversation history per contact, internal notes, outbound messages and delivery status. What it does not do is equally clear: it does not send marketing campaigns or bulk messages, it does not manage support requests and SLAs (WSupport), and it keeps no sales pipeline (WLeads). Connectable channels are limited to the providers configured for your account.
Impact on the workflow
WhatsApp and email land in the same inbox. "Which channel did this customer write from?" disappears, because the conversation accumulates under the person regardless of channel.
Messages stop living in a personal phone or mailbox. Even when a team member leaves, the conversation history stays with the company.
Internal notes can be written in the same thread without being visible to the customer, so whoever takes over reads the context instead of hunting for an explanation elsewhere.
Outbound messages are tracked as pending, sent, delivered, read and failed, so a message that never arrived doesn't disappear quietly.
Classic mailboxes over SMTP/IMAP or Gmail and Microsoft accounts can be connected, and which address to send from is decided per conversation.
WhatsApp connects either through the official Cloud API or by QR pairing, so you can start before the business application process is complete.
Implementation notes
SMTP sending, IMAP receiving, Gmail/Microsoft OAuth mailboxes, WhatsApp Cloud API and QR-paired WhatsApp are defined channel types in the product.
Each channel is authorised for sending, receiving or both, so a channel you only want to listen on can be closed for sending.
Messages collect under a contact in one conversation thread, and direction (inbound/outbound) and visibility (customer-facing/internal) are stored on every message.
An outbound message's status is stored as pending, sent, delivered, read or failed, to the extent the channel reports it.
Email signatures are defined per account and per user and appended to outgoing mail.
Files and images from inbound and outbound messages are stored and previewed inside the conversation.
