Receivables and payables with due dates
Every entry carries a due date alongside its amount and is tracked as pending, partially paid or closed. On a partial collection, how much came in and what remains is readable straight from the record.

WFinance is a web-based finance management tool that tracks a business's income, expenses, receivables and payables together with their due dates. Records are kept by category and counterparty, and partial payments, recurring charges, installment plans, salaries and commissions all land in the same ledger. It is part of the WApps suite and is an operational tracker, not accounting software.
Problem and approach
WFinance owns the job of tracking when money will come in and go out: categorized income and expense records, dated receivables and payables, partial collections, recurring charges, installment plans, salary and commission payments, matching against bank activity, and due-date reminders. What it does not do is equally clear: it does not keep statutory books, issue e-invoices, prepare tax filings or replace your accountant. Its purpose is not statutory reporting but keeping the cash picture current enough to decide on.
Impact on the workflow
Every entry carries a due date alongside its amount and is tracked as pending, partially paid or closed. On a partial collection, how much came in and what remains is readable straight from the record.
Upcoming and overdue items, plus partial payments left with an unclear balance, surface as reminders you can mark completed or dismissed. Collection follow-up no longer depends on someone's calendar.
Rent, subscriptions and similar repeating items are defined as weekly, monthly or yearly plans that can be paused and resumed. You stop opening a new entry every period.
Implementation notes
Income and expense transactions are recorded with a category and counterparty structure and explored with filters in the panel; each entry keeps its payment method and currency.
An entry can be closed in parts rather than in full; because the paid amount is stored separately, the remaining balance is always computable.
Weekly, monthly and yearly recurring plans and installment plans are defined inside the product and generate their entries automatically. Every generated entry carries the plan it came from.
Payroll profiles, salary payments and commission rules are built in. Commissions can be defined as owner, support, referral or fixed-amount.
Bank accounts and their statement lines are stored; each line keeps its match status, and repeated lines are distinguished by their external identifier.

Frequently asked questions
WFinance does not replace statutory bookkeeping or invoicing; it provides internal income-expense tracking and cash visibility, complementing the official processes you run with your accountant.
Your records belong to you; you can filter and report from the panel. Contact our support team for the output formats you need.
Next step
Split an amount into an installment plan where each installment carries its own due date and status, and the plan completes once all are settled. Which customer is on which installment is visible in one place.
Define payroll profiles for employees (full or part time) and their payments flow into the finance record. Commission rules are defined against invoiced or collected amounts, and earnings are tracked as pending, approved and paid.
Bank account movements are compared against your records, separating matched, unmatched and ignored lines. You stop hunting by hand for the gap between statement and ledger.
A proposal accepted in WProposal links to a receivable on the finance side, so there is no gap between closing a sale and tracking its collection.
Periodic income-expense balance and category and counterparty breakdowns are visible in reports; you read the trend without waiting for month end.
Every entry carries where it came from: manual, a recurring plan, an installment, payroll, a commission, the bank, or a WProposal proposal. When someone asks where a figure came from, the answer is on the record.
Changes to finance records are kept in a separate audit log, so when an amount changes later it stays traceable who changed it and when.
WFinance uses the customer and member infrastructure of the same WApps account and runs on the same permission foundation as your sales and support workflows.
